Built in 1991, the Greenside Café is still one of the best-kept secrets in Orange County! Built to the side of the 9th green, the wrap around patio and floor to ceiling windows bring in the views and the beautiful greens of the Dad Miller Golf Course in Anaheim, which was named after golf pioneer H.G. “Dad" Miller. Miller made a hole-in-one on the 11th green at age 93. (See more on namesake H.G.”Dad” Miller here). The Dad Miller Golf course was also the home course to Golf Legend Tiger Woods during his high school golf years. And even though he’s no longer a fixture around this facility, Tiger came back to his home course to open the Tiger Woods Learning Center in 2007 on what was once the course’s driving range. Jaunty blue awnings and the retro-inspired Dad Miller sign welcome guests as they approach the Greenside. There is nothing pretentious about the relaxed feel of the Greenside Café. The open and airy room features a built-in dance floor and high beam ceilings draped with tulle and laced with white twinkle lights, making it a perfect setting for all types of special events. The large wrap around patio is also adorned with twinkle lights and increases the capacity of the room to almost 300 guests. The patio is covered and protected against weather – complete with outdoor heating! Wedding ceremonies are held on this spacious patio, giving you an outdoor garden feel while providing coverage from weather overhead. While friends and family gather after the ceremony in the adjacent banquet room to carry on with the festivities, you and your groom can stroll onto the picturesque course for post-ceremony photography. Besides weddings and receptions, the Greenside is a favorite destination for retirement parties, school banquets, Business meetings, and golf tournaments, along with many other special events. With its neutral color palette, the comfortable indoor-outdoor setting provides a backdrop that can be customized with any of our colored linens and house centerpieces or your imaginative theme decor. Tables are set with gracious bone china, glassware and stylish folded napkins. Working with the Greenside Café is a refreshing experience.
